Top Tips to Keep Your Teeth White After Whitening

Have you whitened your teeth recently? If so, Here are some tips to keep your teeth white and to help you keep a healthy beautiful smile!

1.  Brush, brush, brush!

The daily removal of plaque and food from your teeth will help keep your teeth whiter. Ideally, brushing after meals and flossing 1 to 2 times a day is the best way to keep your pearly whites, white!  Usually stain on teeth is from food or drink particles that are left on the teeth. So, if you are very diligent about removing them it will help to keep your whitened teeth whiter.

2.  Coffee, tea, soda!

If you are sipping on these types of drinks throughout the day they are technically bathing your teeth for hours on end.  Decreasing the frequency that these liquids are on your teeth can help to reduce the chances of staining. If you must drink these types of drinks, try to drink them and then wash your mouth out with water or brush your teeth after to get them off of your teeth!

3. Getting your regular check-ups!

Are you overdue for a cleaning? Your hygienist can give you some tips on keeping your teeth whiter if you just ask! Also, having your teeth professionally cleaned gets all of the plaque and calculus off of the teeth that you can’t get to by yourself. When you are overdue for a cleaning just getting that good polish done can make a world of difference for your smile to make it brighter and will help the health of the teeth as well.
